SWIFT DROP Logistics Private Limited (“SwiftDrop”) provides on-demand pickup and delivery of goods through our mobile application. This policy explains how pickup, transit, and delivery work when you book a shipment with us.

1. Introduction
SwiftDrop connects you with independent delivery partners for road-based transport of goods. We offer two-wheelers, three-wheelers, trucks, shared deliveries, and Packers & Movers services. By booking through the SwiftDrop app, you agree to this Shipping & Delivery Policy.
2. Service Coverage
- Deliveries are available only between locations shown as serviceable in the app at the time of booking.
- Our primary service area includes Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad) and nearby regions as displayed in the app.
- Pickup and drop addresses must be accurate and accessible by road.
- Deliveries cannot be made to PO boxes.
- Inter-city or out-of-zone requests may be refused or require a revised quotation.
3. How an Order Works
- Booking: You select a vehicle type, enter pickup and drop details, and pay online or choose Cash on Delivery (COD).
- Rider assignment: The system searches for an available delivery partner. If no partner accepts within 5 minutes, the order may be cancelled automatically.
- Pickup: The delivery partner arrives at the pickup location, verifies the goods, and collects the shipment. Pickup may be confirmed via OTP or photo where shown in the app.
- In transit: Your goods are transported from pickup to the drop location. You can track order status in the app.
- Delivery: Goods are handed to the recipient at the drop address. Delivery may be confirmed via OTP or photo where applicable.
- Completed: The order is marked complete once delivery is confirmed in the app.
4. Delivery Timelines
- Two-wheelers & three-wheelers: Same-day local delivery. Estimated time shown in the app depends on distance, traffic, and rider availability.
- Trucks: Delivery as per the booked slot or agreed quotation.
- Part Truck Load (PTL): Pickup attempted as per the reserved time slot.
- Packers & Movers: Scheduled date and time as agreed at booking.
- Shared deliveries: May follow a shared route; delivery time can vary due to multiple stops.
All arrival and delivery times shown in the app are indicative only. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, mechanical issues, road closures, or other factors outside SwiftDrop's control. No compensation is payable for such delays.
5. Vehicle Types & Shipment Suitability

You must select the appropriate vehicle for your shipment. Goods exceeding declared size or weight may be refused at pickup.
6. Weight, Size & Load-Assist
- You must accurately declare contents, quantity, weight, and dimensions at booking.
- Part Truck Load (PTL) services: maximum allowed weight is 1,000 kg.
- Load-assist (where available) includes manpower support only — not technical dismantling, rope pulling, packaging, or handling items above 50 kg per person.
- Incorrect declarations may result in refusal, additional charges, or denial of claims.
7. Packaging & Sender Responsibilities
You are responsible for safe packaging of your goods, including:
- Durable covering and cushioning for fragile items
- Proper boxes with void filling and strong adhesive tape
- Correct pickup and drop addresses and recipient contact details
- Lawful ownership or authority over the goods being shipped
Damage caused by poor packaging is not covered by SwiftDrop. Where required under GST laws, you must provide a valid e-way bill before the trip starts.
8. Prohibited & Restricted Items
You must not ship:
- Hazardous, explosive, or flammable goods
- Alcohol, tobacco, narcotics, or illegal substances
- Cash, currency, coins, or high-value jewellery
- Precious stones, gems, or high-value documents
- Weapons, ammunition, or dangerous articles
- Live animals, perishable food, or body parts
- Radioactive, chemical, or regulated materials
SwiftDrop may refuse pickup or report illegal consignments to law enforcement.
9. Delivery Attempts & Failed Delivery
- The recipient must be available at the drop address with a valid contact number.
- If the recipient is unavailable, SwiftDrop may return the consignment to the origin or handle it as feasible.
- Return-to-origin (RTO) attempts or storage beyond permissible timelines may incur additional charges.
- Consignments unclaimed for 7 days may be disposed of or sold to recover dues.
- Wrong or incomplete addresses provided by the sender are the sender's responsibility.
10. Proof of Pickup & Delivery
Where enabled in the app, pickup and delivery may be verified through:
- OTP verification at pickup or drop
- Photographs of the package at pickup or delivery
- Order status updates and timestamps in the app tracking screen
For disputes, please contact support with your order ID and relevant details.
11. Pricing & Payment
- Fares are calculated and displayed in the app based on vehicle type, distance, and applicable charges.
- Online prepaid: UPI, card, and other methods via our payment partner (Razorpay).
- Cash on Delivery (COD): The full amount shown in the app must be paid to the delivery partner. Tips are voluntary.
- Revised quotations (e.g. for PTL) must be accepted in the app before the trip begins.
12. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel eligible orders in the SwiftDrop app before pickup begins. Online prepaid orders receive a full automatic refund when cancelled before pickup.

13. Damage, Loss & Claims
Claims related to damage or loss must be raised within 24 hours of delivery by contacting SwiftDrop support with photos and order details.
Liability limits:
- Two-wheeler deliveries: Up to freight paid or ₹1,500 (whichever is lower)
- Truck deliveries: Up to freight paid or ₹5,000 (whichever is lower)
- Packers & Movers: Single-layer packing — max ₹1,500; multi-layer packing — max ₹5,000
SwiftDrop strongly recommends additional insurance for higher-valued goods.
